I took my kid to IHOP this past weekend. $28 for the two of us. He got the minion banana pancake thing and milk and I got a breakfast burrito and a sweet tea. $28 before tip. I could have sworn a few months ago we could both eat for less than $20.

Topisawtiger, you are lying or left a generous tip.

I just paid $11.20 @ Wendys for the exact same meal combo.

Complaining about fast food prices is the most pathetic thing I've seen on this board and there have been some real pathetic losers post here

Tell us more about your ability to cook three meals a day at home. I think I speak for everyone when I say I think I would love to hear more about your recipes.

I went into Five Guys today and a cheeseburger was $10.15. Not fries, a drink, or anything, just a cheeseburger. I walked out and went to Burger King. A Southwest Whopper Jr, four chicken nuggets, fries, and a pop was $6.

Canes out west all suck

Canes sucks everywhere. If it weren’t for being able to drown it in sauce it would be as dry as a Popeyes biscuit minus the flavor. The fries are like the ones you buy out of the frozen foods section at Walmart. And Texas toast no big invention there. The best thing about canes is if I ever get it in New Orleans I can always use a chicken finger as a weapon if I get attacked. Canes is the K-mart of the fried chicken industry.

I picked up 6 of what used to be the $5 pizzas for everyone at work today and the total was almost $62. Ten Dollars for a regular pizza from Little Caesar's is insane. Can't see ever going back there again.

Their large pepperoni is only $5.99 and their large cheese pizza is still $5.59 or $5.99 almost everywhere. Either someone made a mistake or you ordered large deluxe pizzas or larges with a number of other toppings which has always been more than $5. And even at $10 and change for a large pizza, that still beats all of the other pizza places for pricing.

Paid 3 for $11 just this week at Walgreens. Gotta shop around and then buy a bunch when you find the good price.

Meal prep? We do it every week.

2lbs pork for spicy pork bites
2lb ground beef for 6 burger patties
Rice
Head of lettuce
Tomatoes and cucumbers from the garden.

It really not hard.

You laughed because it isn’t true? Or did you give the guy in the drive through a tip?

My SIL showed me the receipt, it was from Franklinton Wendy's. To be fair it did have 2 patties on the burger.

Joe could gain my vote if his admin started quoting the average BMI of Americans and it shows a legit decline.

Stick to the value menu and smaller burgers/sandwiches. You can still get out for $5.

You shouldn’t be consuming 2,000 calories in a meal.
