Fashion Board Shoe Sale Alert (Allen Edmonds)

I know most of us are fresh off Powerball winnings and will therefore scoff at the concept of buying factory seconds, but AE is having a significant sale right now, and you can buy them straight off the website. Some really good deals, including some classic AE stuff (Strands, Kenwoods, etc.)
I know it comes up a lot on here and this is probably the best deals you'll find on Allen Edmonds.

Picked up my Road warriors on Monday and have only taken them off to shower and sleep

FYI on the seconds. The ones I have seen in the past you couldn't even tell. If they are truly defective they don't let them leave the factory. It is too damaging to the brand to have something truly jacked up out on the street with their name on it. The "brand" is worth millions to companies like this. Way too much to risk for selling a couple of pairs of shoes. They destroy ones that are truly jacked up.

I bought a pair of seconds and the shoes took like 6 weeks to ship as they made them by hand so I don't understand how they were seconds

I'm wearing a pair of AE's right now that I got for Christmas. I just bought two more from that damn sale. I was supposed to be doing something more worthwhile with that money

Yeah I have a couple pairs of seconds and several pairs of normal AEs, and on one pair of seconds I can't find the defect. On the other it is like a double stitch on the welt stitch and I don't think anybody would notice unless I pointed it out.
My issue more often with seconds is that they're frequently just shitty designs by AE. But I wouldn't hesitate to buy Strands or Park Avenues or the like, just double check the reviews with the non-second version on the website.
