Farmerville teacher's aide arrested and charged for sexual misconduct with student

Farmerville, La. - According to the Union Parish Sheriff's Office, 39 year old Erin Ludwig of Farmerville has been arrested and charged with prohibited sexual conduct between an educator and a student. Ludwig is a teacher's aide at D'Arbonne Woods Charter School in Farmerville. The alleged victim is her daughter's seventeen year old boyfriend.
Ludwig turned herself in to the Union Parish Sheriff's Office Monday night just hours after a warrant was issued for her arrest.
"We interviewed several students who were able to confirm based on statements that the student made and also some text messages that they observed confirming that there was some type of a relationship going on", says Sheriff Dusty Gates with the Union Parish Sheriff's Office.
