They've only had about three different commercials before the one mentioning Bigfan, right? The tech baby, the cheating grill girlfriend and the one where the husband is rushed to the hospital. How are people that into this bigfan when it has only been mentioned once?

Big fan is a giant Bosworth that gets defeated by a chest pass from Eddie George.

It's Bo Jackson. He's gonna run over boz.

This year's finale sucked balls. Even if it didn't have last year's hilarious finale to compete with it would still be considered utter shite.
I thought it might be Boz, but wasn't sure (which is not how you want your audience to be for a big reveal). They should have gone with someone more universally known, like Terry Bradshaw or even bring back Larry Culpepper ("I'm just tryin' to get back in the scene, man").
An excellent choice would have been Shaq. They could have used him to try bridging Fansville over to basketball or just that Shaq is a big football fan.
This was a bigger disaster than Arkansas' conference record.

Why do so many people want Larry Culpepper in the commercials? The best part of the new Fansville was to put an end to the misery that was Larry Culpepper.
Dr. Pepper obviously knew it sucked or they would have stuck with him. Fansville was largely a success.

I like the Fansville commercials better than the Larry ones, my point was that even putting Larry in as the Superfan would have been better than what they came up with.

What did they come up with? I missed it.

It sucked, onto next season.

Superfan was basically a giant Boz (who no one under the age of 30 remembers, most likely) and was taken out by a gently lobbed football to the forehead.
The fricking Sonic guys are far more entertaining than that shitstain of an ending.
