If you had a relative that was about to pass away and your family and his family have been at odds over the past couple of years, would you go to wake? wake and funeral, funeral or none?

I don't let others dictate my actions or circumstances

Apparently, they don't get along. So this seems to be good news to him.

You should definitely go and rub it in their faces, that'll show those bastards.

There are times to put differences aside even if it's only for a day. Pay your respects like a man.

Both. don't miss the chance to say goodbye to someone because of issues with other people.

Go to the wake and funeral if you would have on good terms. Don't bring up any bullshite while you're there either. Don't let a short fight taint a long lived relationship.

Just the reading of the will obviously.

does his family even want you there? that's probably where your answer lies.

1st thing you need to do is find out if he is dead.
You're putting the cart in front of the horse.

So what's the appropriate amount of outrage to show if you don't receive the items or amount of money you were expecting?

None
That person is dead. He probably wouldn't want you there anyway.

Is his whole family dying or just him?

Make peace before he dies. You'll regret it if you don't.

Be a man and do the right thing - even when you are mad at others...
