Certainly not the point of this thread...but part of teaching kids the play the game the right way is to teach them to always be attentive to what's going on and anticipate opportunities that the other team can exploit.
For instance, in this case, heads up ball would have included the pitcher covering home as soon as the catcher abandoned the plate. The catcher did the right thing by forcing the runner back to third base. The runner did the right thing by running to an uncovered base.

Absolutely. I dont see people around applauding those things. Most youth sports at that age (6-8y/o) dont even allow it. Those are all things enjoyable more at something like HS age.

It's not bush league. It's taking advantage of players that aren't well coached.
There is a rule, hesitation rule, that states once the ball is back to the pitcher the runner cannot hang out off the base and try to illicit a reaction. The runner must commit to a base and cannot decommit from the base while the pitcher has the ball.
If the catcher simply throws the ball back to the pitcher this doesn't happen. If the catcher does pursue and the pitcher covers home as they should, this does not happen.

Some people seem to think that "bush league" is illegal or against the rules. It isn't. It is a way of conducting yourself and behaving within the sport in a way that lacks class. Nothing against the rules about it.
It is 100% bush league.

Scoring a run by being aggressive on the bases and taking advantage of the other teams poor play is everything but bush league.
Bush league would be a runner screaming "I got it" while the infield is attempting to catch a pop up causing distraction.
