No kidding. I have no idea how many times I've cut my hand or burned myself after dropping something and instantly reacting and catching it without thinking instead of letting it fall. The guy looks like that what was happening in his head, and he's lucky as hell it stopped, because he'd have gotten crushed before he realized he need to let it go and get the hell out of the way.
