I drove through LSU a couple times a day for about a week and a half not too long ago. The amount of kids facetiming while walking blew me away. I'd bet it was one out of three. Less than half of them were using headphones/buds too. I'd probably get expelled if I were a student these days. No way I could take hearing people's conversations on speaker all day.

Prefer phone call.
When I'm out of town for work, I video call so I can see my son before he goes to bed. That's worth it to me.

Only when out of cell service but have WiFi. I discovered that you can do audio only FaceTime so that’s what I do now.

Yes you are in the minority. Even my 7 year old uses FaceTime audio when she calls me at work from her iPad to say hi.
