I'm really impressed with the Cleveland Chief of Police. Very thoughtful and an effective communicator in probably the toughest and most high profile case in his career.

While he is impressive I think you're forgetting about the Ariel Castro kidnappings.

Same chief? Well, in that case, he's pretty experienced in high profile cases. Like you said, though, still impressive. That's said, come on Cleveland, pick yourself up.

ETA--didn't one of the girls Castro kidnapped get some sort of tv gig recently? Incredible that she has so quickly assimilated back into society to be able to handle such a gig

See, I don't really understand that logic.

You're a criminal and you want to die? Ok, congratulations. Here's your prize. BLAM.

$0.09 later and problem solved. He'll do his suffering breaking rocks for Satan.

You don't understand the logic? He carelessly murdered an innocent old man going about his day then his life was over just as quickly as the man he shot like an animal. Had he taken the coward's way out at the beginning, an elderly man with a family would still be alive and one less absolute POS would be on the streets. The living weren't done with him yet, taxpayer's dime or not. He basically got away with it since he knew he was going to die anyway. He probably didn't even feel it. Meanwhile, countless people will always feel the pain of never seeing Mr. Godwin again.

On the flip side, if Kim Jong Un fell off earth tomorrow...I'd be OK with that...sure I'd love to make him pay in spades, but gtfo is just as well

Well, take solace in the fact that he may not have done a good job of offing himself and could have flopped around in his car for a pretty good while before expiring.

IMO, a rapid one way pass to death is the best route for shitbags like this guy.
