Could be clickbait. No idea if these “63” are material or not.
I would bet that all of these were made in consultation with SpaceX engineers and many of them have already been addressed in the re-design and installation of stage zero.

Calm down, Francis. I can promise you that every single issue is something that SpaceX knows about and agrees with and is currently working on.
This is simply some bureaucrats wanting to show they “did something” in order to maintain their budgets.

I would assume SpaceX could spin out Starship into a separate company, and test that anywhere, and then sell/lease it to SpaceX when complete. That would bypass the FAA.
The problem with this is that the FAA doesn’t have jurisdiction over this. It’s a test vehicle-it’s not in commercial operation yet, which is the FAA’s remit. They haven’t weighed in on test vehicles in the past. It’s an overreach.

Does anyone else notice how things in our culture are getting strangely similar to "Atlas Shrugged"? Just wondering.
I notice this every day. It’s scary

This is all bile and mainly manure. Ask yourself how a vehicle moves to commercial operation if not for submitting detailed evidence as well as demonstrating safety to the FAA for certification.

Elon himself identified the need to fix those systems immediately after the launch. I doubt the FAA is asking SpaceX to do much (if anything) they aren’t already working on.
As the FAA is clueless about space flight, the only thing they will do is create delays while they approve the changes all the while some back-biting eco-nuts will try to create delays using the FAA bureaucracy.

Almost as if the idiots in this thread thinks SpaceX generates money. Everything that company does is paid for by the tax payer.
SpaceX has saved us a lot of money on servicing the ISS and a host of government launch costs because they have developed and proven re-usable first stage rockets. The first stage is about 60% of the cost of a launch. It is a huge saving to have a reusable first stage.

I have no doubt that is true. However, having had more than a few experiences with building departments who do the same thing with power mixed with government sloth and delay, I don't see it as a positive development.
Then too it opens the door to political interference of the types we have seen way too much of.

Just dumb.

I agree.

Oh just another federal agency being weaponized against a political enemy.

So not 33 or 66, exactly 63.

The head of the FAA was formerly in the Obama administration & newly appointed by biden. If anyone seriously believes this is not 100% political they have cognitive issues worse than biden's.

As well as "A Brave New World," just with less Shakespeare.

Rockets have never been reviewed during the early testing phase by the FAA. They didn’t do this with the Falcon program. In addition, they have no experience whatsoever in this field.

According to a tweet by Elon, Space x has completed 57 of the corrective actions needed for the next Starship launch.
6 of the 63 corrective actions were for future launches.
They should be able to launch Starship again soon.
