What happens to the drones after the mission is finished?

Skynet recovers them.

There is no defense as two guys could launch a attack from a van only yards outside a airport/military base fence or other targets like the White House, there would be no time to react

Lol. I can promise you no one is launching anything over the fence of the White House, let alone parked in a van a few yards away

Weapons of mass annoyance. The fricking sound of those tiny drones buzzing around will make you put a bullet in your own head.

You think the White House has some type of air defense system or guys on the roof with shoulder fired missiles?

There are so many instances of people flying drones into the White House I not even going to bother posting them, Google it.

And you apparently never heard about this,

LINK

and this,

LINK

and this,

LINK

and many other instances of aircraft being flown into the white house grounds.

Just imagine if they had Florida Georgia Line on repeat blaring over an enemy stronghold out of those things...

Come on man.

If nothing else, you know there is at least one weapons locker either near the roof of the White House or more likely the Treasury that the USSS keeps Stingers.

Mock instead of there not being a good system to take care of hundreds of 12 inch long electric driven drones.

Going to be interesting to see how that goes.

Weaponized laser defenses?

My nephew flew drones when he was deployed in Iraq, and The Philippines. Don't know if he targeted people, but he did tell me, they spied on the radical Muslims in The Philippines. I was telling him that may be one of the skills he can use if he goes into law enforcement when he leaves the Navy.

Your nephew will be making over 6 figures the day he gets out of the service as a civilian contractor for the military.

That's scary. Similar to the music/noise of the Monolith from The Dawn of Man scene from 2001, a Space Odessy. youtube Go to the 1:30 mark.

Whoever sees them first, might react in similar fashion o the prehistoric men in the scene!

So you cite articles from over 20 and 40 years ago, and one that’s not even about the White House? You’re not helping your case there man

"On Monday, a Secret Service officer who was posted on the south grounds of the White House “heard and observed” the drone, the agency said, but the officer and others stationed at the residence were unable to bring it down before it passed over the White House fence and struck a tree. The drone was too small and flying too low to be detected by radar, officials said, adding that because of its size, it could easily have been confused for a large bird.
The incident comes just days after the Department of Homeland Security held a conference in Arlington, Va., on the dangers that such drones pose to the nation’s critical infrastructure and government facilities. On display at the meeting was a DJI Phantom drone — the same type of drone that crashed at the White House on Monday. But the drone on display had three pounds of fake explosives attached to the payload as part of an effort to show how easily it could be used to launch an attack, according to a participant at the conference."

I'm not sure about the current White House defense protocol, but about five years ago there were very serious looking men dressed in black standing watch on the White House roof. They had a variety of weaponry, including MANPADS. I doubt that the latest generation Stinger type missile would be worth a shite against a swarm of drones, but the White House recently had some air defense capability and I suspect they still do.
