Federal government probably planned the whole thing, but they had to follow the green new deal so they can keep their liberal loon base happy.

It takes him 3 stops consistently.

Then he's an idiot or has a tiny bladder.

It's no more than 500 miles from houston to 80% of Mississippi.

The RV hookups? I don't think they keep the power on to those outside of football games

Cajun Field has 1 station with 2 EV hookups. Further down from the RV hookups, across from the hospital. I drive by it daily for work and often see cars recharging.

I remember that target parking lot at the Louisiana ave exit in Lafayette having an arse load of charging stations. Don’t remember if they all Tesla or not.

I know. It will not surprise me that they find out that he charged the truck there. It's at about the halfway point to New Orleans.

The buccees in Lafayette is going to be critical to travelers from Houston to Nola. Expect a ton of charging stations

How many times do you have to stop to charge that thing between Houston and New Orleans?

Who cares? He went green. ISIS may be a group of murdering savages but they do care about the planet.

It weighs 3 and a quarter tons. That’s a lot of mass moving.

And it moves quick. Not to mention no engine to disable by running into barriers.

Also, if he had used a pipe bomb to explode the battery, then fire is damn near impossible to extinguish, and if you use water it makes it worse

Didn’t they say this truck was rented in New Orleans on Toro app by an owner in New Orleans?

Has anybody asked if higher speeds in an EV translates to better MPGs (or Miles Per Charge) yet?

It’s actually not an odd choice at all. It was definitely calculated. An ev is heavier and quieter so no one could hear it coming

Faster drains battery faster as does acceleration. Slow and steady is slow and steady batter drain.

When you get in stop and go traffic you barely use any batter because of the regenerative brakes

Talked to him to confirm. If he starts with a full charge, he stops 10 minutes x1 and 20 on the second because of the way charging is optimized. And if he’s under about 90% it adds a 3rd short charge at a supercharger and changes the location of the 2nd charge, the 3rd is near the destination where he fills most the way back up.

that Buccess is going to crush the car traffic to Tiger Truck stop in Grosse Tete, that place thrives because it’s the first real stop once you pass Lafayette and hit the long bridge

they will have to quadruple down on the truck stop aspect since Buccess doesn’t allow trucks

My theory is that those trucks accelerate fast in a short time distance. Otherwise, yes, such a odd choice, unless it was cheap to rent?

He did use Toro but got the truck in Texas, in Houston I believe. He's from Houston.
