I wonder what message they are trying to send with warning people away.
I'm guessing the police knew there was a possible bomb and played out an EAS message.

Was the RV blasting the message or was that a police warning?

why was the RV blasting the warning message?
It's almost like the person wanted damage, but no lives lost.

The policed investigated the RV after someone called it in and the bomb squad had been called. I was wondering whether it was from the RV or from the police.

Broadcasting a message to tell people to evacuate doesn't scream snack bar to me. Very strange stuff, indeed.

Reddit posts are saying it was the same voice and speakers used during the summer for protests over the emergency speakers downtown, so it could have been police broadcasting it, but unknown at this point.

Not what the local news is saying. Obviously it’s speculation and potentially wrong at this point. Just saying what’s being reported locally.

seems to be targeted at AT&T - whoever did it is probably some right wing 5g conspiracist - didnt want to hurt people but wanted to bring down a grid - also chose christmas morning to limit the potential lives lost

This seems likely honestly.
That part of downtown is hardly inhabited, a few condos and Airbnb’s.

Wonder what was odd enough about the RV to investigate.
