It’s really weird to me that no photo of suspect has surfaced. Impressive to live 63 years and be that unknown. But it makes sense if he lived off the grid.

Is there not back up protocol for emergency services if the main phone system goes down? I don’t know the answer here, not sure we need complete redundant systems for a very rare event. But does seem like some sort of system should be in place in case this happens. Like put out a radio message for everyone to call the next county over that uses a different system, or something like that.
