It was an old prison thing to show you’re “open to extracurriculars.” El Gauchos cousin told me when I last visited him at the hospital when he was going in for fibromyalgia treatments

Started in the prison system. Pants often didn’t fit inmates, hence, “sagging”. Got adopted by 90s hip hop artists because it was cool to have been incarcerated.

From what I heard, it is because in prison they don’t allow belts. After some time prisoners would lose weight and have to hold up their pants while walking. Then when they got home it was considered a badge of honor. So they bought pants 4 sizes too big and held them up. Then it caught on as a fad amongst the youngster wannabe gang bangers. I could be very wrong though.

Well, that certainly seems stupid.

This. Grandfather was an officer in Nola back in the 70’s and 80’s. He confirmed

It’s the one fashion trend that just won’t ever go out of style. Don’t mess with a classic, I guess.

So, it's a "I lost weight" brag?

Except parachute pants haven't come around again. These dumb asses are still walking around with their drawers hanging out though.

At a racetrack one time when a homeboy came in “saggin”. A older redneck told him he had a shite stain on his underwear, he was just messing with him but he sure pulled his pants up

Timmy told stupid Sally he would pay her $5 to climb the flag pole so he could see her panties. Sally took the money and climbed the pole and just laughed and laughed because she knew she wasn’t wearing any panties.

It started in prison I believe.
Was a signal that you were interested in booty play.

Or so I was told by an guys on work release at one of my college jobs.

So, do you think that all these young bucks limping around holding up their pants realize that they are inviting others to frick them up the arse? Because maybe if someone told them, ahem, the practice might decrease.

They are saying that 6 percent of the population are responsible for most of the murders in this country as well as liking dick in their butt on the down low and spreading AIDS.

I saw a reformed OG tell a High School kid that. Mock him, and ask why he wanted his booty filled.
