how many of these threads you gonna start? Looks like you need reassurance that you're not fat.

Seriously. A bunch of young guys who still have their high octane metabolisms going, wondering why adults with overtime jobs and kids aren’t in the gym every night and avoiding fast food.

Indeed. I prefer power climbs though nothing too long. Also my 5 minute power is pretty good. Sprint isn't terrible either. I have hit 1300+ watts before

Honestly, the shorter and skinnier you are, the harder it is to trust you... notice most of your skinny people are Democrats

When you work 9 hours a day, commute 45 minutes each way and have kids to deal with once you get home it happens.

I got fat as frick the first 3-4 years after my kid was born, I was nearly 100 lbs over what I was at high school graduation.

Finally got off my arse and have spent the last 6 years walking, lifting, dieting and trying to get it off.

Age doesn't help either

Just go to the gym for 3-4 days a week for a solid hour or so and do some cardio, lift some baby weights and eat some things that are medically recommended with enough protein and carbs on the food pyramid and eventually you will get to be in shape. It may take a while but you will get there.

The food pyramid is part of what has made us fat.

And for the overwhelming majority of people, exercise isn't what controls weight, not directly anyway (it helps keep us healthy and not depressed and so it definitely is a big factor overall, so I won't belabor the point).

I turned the food pyramid upside down and weigh 173 at 6' with muscle tone, at 45. And I'm nursing an injury and haven't worked out much in two months.

We really need to scrap the conventional government, physician and "association" dogma that has helped land us where we are today with metabolic and obesity epidemics.

I'm 5'9" not 5'8", but 150lbs has always been a good weight for me.

That chart is bullshite. I’m 6’6 and was 260 in college when I played football and I had 6 pack abs. I’m 285 now and have a slight beer gut

Come to think of it, in college I was eating a with a foreigner from Argentina and I remember him taking one bite of that kind of bread and I remember him asking why the bread is so sweet here in America and he said the bread back home is just bread, not bread that tastes like candy.

Everything Americanized is just add sugar and salt.

Mexican food, Chinese food, etc you get in America isn’t really the type of food they eat there, they reduce the spice in it and add sugar and tons of sodium. Our dietary habits are terrible in the US
