British tabloids are not the same as American tabloids. British tabloids are actual news whereas American tabloids are stories about Elvis being alive and Bigfoot using lumberjacks as sex slaves.

Scientists & Geologists: It's just a rock formation.

Bunch of old white dudes trying to sell a documentary: It's Noah's Ark!

Even if it was a boat, they're assuming it's Noah's Ark? What a joke. This is clickbait in the form of a documentary, simple as that. Someone looking to make money off of the gullible.

I'll take, peoole who know what the frick they're talking about for $1000 Alex.

It’s the big stone thing. When Wood gets old it turns into solid stone.

That's a geologic feature. And there is no scale hence no idea how large it is. It could be thirty feet long or 3 miles long. I'm unconvinced.

It is the center part of a syncline which is a geologic fold.

So, is this Cem guy saying that literally two of every surviving species of animal was on a big wooden boat that is now burried under that mountain? That would have been quite the evolutionary bottleneck.

I am still trying to find a few answers.

How did Noah collect animals that only existed in their native lands, which wasn't even known about during that time?

How did Noah keep the lions, tigers and such from eating the deer, elk, etc?

What about all the plants that wouldn't survive being underwater? Did he have to gather all of those as well?

And how long did it take him to repopulate the world?

it’s good we have you here to poke holes in a biblical allegory. otherwise where would we turn for such critical analysis?

It's a common device to allow the follow-on civilization to claim to be morally superior to the earlier civilization wiped out by the flood.

My bad. I need to learn how to not ask logical questions and just blindly believe everything I am told.

You should tell the guy claiming he found the ark that it's an allegory. In fact go ahead and tell the posters on this board too. Lastly you can tell the 38% of Americans that believe the Bible is literally true.

Noah flew them over on his wooden airplane. Used his Dr Doolittle skills to reason with them not to eat each other. Duh.
