it’s an allegory...a single man did not build a giant cargo boat on gods instructions to rescue breeding pairs of the worlds animals to later repopulate the earth after a worldwide flood

Dan Devine was a pretty good coach. Not sure how much he intervened, though. It’s also probably hard for a flooded plane to fly.

Or, you know, the second definition of the word:

2a: a surface in which if any two points are chosen a straight line joining them lies wholly in that surface
b: a flat or level surface

The amusing thing to me is that I was in a text conversation with a friend of mine who is an Auburn fan and made reference to The Plains at roughly the same time I wrote that post. shite happens
