we hunt/own 800 continuous acres, about 1400 total. And that’s in Louisiana. Much easier to get land in Texas
The hell it is. Land in Texas is expensive as shite and hard to get.

Fining 900 continuous acres in Texas is 10x easier and more affordable than Louisiana
But you are correct it isn’t “cheap” anywhere

Thats a lot of animals for 900 acres. He has to do a lot of food supplementation.
Agreed. We have 3000 acres on the hunting lease in Miss and just the whitetail deer eat everything it provides naturally. His land is also naturally full of whitetail deer too and now he has all those other animals fighting for food. He better be feeding them well.

It’s a hobby ranch in Texas
900 ac will only create generational wealth if it’s drilled on and successful.

So true. Nothing eats up cash like ranch ownership. Hopefully he’s selling enough hunts to break even

900 Acres?
That's a hobby farm in Texas.
That's quite interesting, considering that the average farm in Texas is 411 acres

And it takes ten times that to be successful, fished a guy that is farming 10,000 ac in December. Nobody is only farming the avg anywhere.
