Ex NBA player gets Masters degree and is then arrested for punching daughter

Has two daughters, 17 and 14, and punched one in the face and blood was found at the scene. Daughter contacted mother asking for help.

I was at a resort a few years ago, he was there with his 3 or 4 kids. It never failed we would end up next to them at the pool and dinner. His kids were very respectful and nice. All of us with teens know that they deserve a good jolt back into reality every once and awhile, but striking them like that is not good!

I’m sure he got his college degrees the same way you and I have to. No way he doesn’t have someone else do the work for him.
Can we go back to the days when professional athletes and entertainers weren’t celebrated as role models but as what they are. Entertainers.

Him getting an MBA is impressive, considering his history. When straight from high school to the NBA, college was all on his dime.
Due to his mother's issues with the law, he attended three different high schools. Wasn't even eligible to play basketball as a freshman in high school.

Apparently got disrespectful with the grandmother and was talking back… these types of situations are always uncomfortable because depending on when you were raised some discipline can be seen as abusive…

Went to see him play when he was highly touted in hs. He scored 4 pts and couldn’t care less.

No one gets to choose the family they are born into.
Him having a bad home life then getting into the NBA, being successful, then getting a master's after getting out is something I'd wager even you can't match if you paired up resumes. That's a terrible take.

Tell me when that was exactly. I'm 60 and this has been going on as long as I can remember.
Perhaps you're confusing people thinking athletes and entertainers have some special knowledge on whatever the topic of the day is. That is not the same as being a role model.

I could understand this if he had just gotten a PhD and she refused to call him Doctor, but this shite is unacceptable over a Master's degree.
