In fact, the fatality rate due to the Coronavirus in the U.S. has been and is significantly less compared to the world as a whole. As I type this, the Johns Hopkins data:
Fatalities divided by cases:
World: 28125/607965 = 4.62%
U.S.: 1711/104860 = 1.63%

No it’s an embarrassment because money is still somehow a barrier to entry in getting treatment for an actual pandemic
People are still dying because they can’t afford covid treatment. Sugar coat it however you want but that’s not acceptable. At all.

there was no financial incentive for mcconnell to put billions aside for this.
the incentive was to fake the news in january to try in vain to keep nyse high for trumps reelection.

This is such BS. There are no statistics to backup your claim. I challenge you to cite one example of someone dying because they could not afford treatment. The percentage of Americans who cannot get emergency medical treatment like this is minimal. We have 74 million (about 22%) of the poorest Americans receiving Medicaid and another 57 million (17%) receiving Medicare. If 180 million have insurance provided by their employers, there does not leave much left. Many of the uninsured are young adults that are least affected my this.
Now if you would have said there will be a lot of people going bankrupt trying to pay their bills afterward without having jobs, I would tend to agree.
