I don't get it. And it's not a racial thing. I'm white as can be but in the last 15-20 years I've been to quite a few funerals(overwhelmingly populated with white people) and 90% were casual dress. I don't dress particularly "nice" and generally am the best dressed. It's weird. When a pair of khakis and collared shirt make you feel overdressed theres a problem.
