I was friends with Randi in high school, gave her a ride to school on her first day of Freshman year, very sweet girl. Killed by Derek Todd Lee

Aaron Arnold, the Olive Garden murder victim. Went running with him that day. Still keeps me up at night sometimes.

Some guy I know when I was in high school just got shot in Montana not more than a week ago.

I was friends with both Justin Brooks and James McLean. James had untreated schizophrenia and when Justin jokingly said he was the devil, James believed him because of the voices of god in his head. He stabbed Justin over 60 times with a Bowie knife. Still can't believe it, over a decade later.

My best friend, growing up... He got into drugs in high school and we drifted apart.
Was killed in the 9th ward in '99 at the age of 22. Trying to buy cocaine. Come to find out, a couple of white boys from St. Bernard ripped off some dealers the night before so they decided to make an example of my friend when he went in there the next night. Shot point blank in the head. Didn't rob him, didn't steal his truck, nothing. Just made an example.
17 yr old thug punk. Got like 11 years for 2nd degree murder. Cops fricked up the case and evidence and they couldn't get a heavier charge or sentence to stick because of it.
It took my friends parents walking the streets with church groups in the area to finally get some leads on who did it. He had to bring everything he found to the cops and then they finally arrested the suspect.

My neighbors son was shot and killed about 10 years ago.
He was hanging out with this girl and her ex boyfriend walked in the house pulled a gun and shot him in the face.
He was a guy I always looked up to growing up. Messed with me for a long time.

My cousin who was also a close friend was shot at a wedding reception 18 years ago. There was an argument and instead of fighting like a man, the puss went home, got a gun, and killed him in the parking lot of a church.

A girl I knew in high school was killed by her father. He also killed the mom and sister. Spared the son.

One of my high school friends, Geralyn Barr Desoto, was killed by Derrick Todd Lee. Also another friend of mine killed both his parents when he was 15. His parents used to run a youth group me and my siblings were a part of.

I had an uncle that was a crack head and he was riding through the hood with a stolen dvd player to trade for crack. Well, another crackhead beat him in the head with a tire tool to steal the dvd player and it killed him.

I sold some real estate for a guy that was murdered.
He was having an ongoing estate sale trying to get another property ready to sell and he had a little cash on him. Two adults and one teenager found this out and made a plan to murder him. They shot him, wrapped him in a tarp, dumped him on the back of the property, robbed his house and barn and left.
The property is still vacant and they caught and prosecuted the 3 murderers.

Another guy I went to HS with was beat to death with a baseball bat and dumped on the side of the road over a drug deal.
Ex Gfs brother was murdered years ago leaving work at Auto Zone on Hwy 14 in Lake Charles. He was reaching for his wallet to give the robbers and they thought he was going for a gun or something and shot him.
A girl I went to school with. Her mom shot her dad one night with a shotgun. The mom got 25 for second degree murder and the girl got a new car a few months later and we were all curious how because they were poor as shite and it's doubtful he had life insurance. She was able to draw out her pops social security or something since she was a minor. Her older brother took her in.
