Basically bought a ring and went out on a whim hoping she’d say yes?

Even tho the timing was a surprise, every relationship I’ve known the couple had already discusssed at some point and the proposal was more formality at that point.

I did. I also bought a house sight unseen, for 300k.

It's worked great.

Have a friend who did but it backfired I guess you'd say. The test showed clearly positive. He took a chance. Wanted to make an honest girl out of her. Then... she lost the baby. Said asking for the ring back was the most awkward thing ever.

I mean, let's be honest. She wasn't marriage material.

Someone did that to my mom, and fortunately for my birth she said no.

I know someone who did. The engagement ring is at the bottom of a lake now.
True story.

What probably made this situation even worse is they probably plastered pics, videos, and statuses of the proposal, the ring, etc. all over facebook announcing it to the world.

Actually was at a bar a couple weekends ago and there was this guy that was clearly black out drunk and it was only 4 p.m. He was bumping into stuff kinda acting like a arse and his friend came up to us apologizing saying he proposed early and got rejected. Dude was clearly tore up.

Well, true. That was embarrassing. But what really made it worse was after she gave him the ring back, she also gave him the bill for the abortion.

That's not losing the baby.

Even better luck of the draw for your baw. Would never wife a woman who would do that.
