3 times

1. As a kid I did the thing where you knock on someone’s door and run. I knocked on the wrong guys door.
2. In High School I was in the wrong Shreveport ghetto at the wrong time. Some ghetto types didn’t like that.
3. In my 30’s in the suburbs in Round Rock, TX. Some old redneck George Zimmerman dude didn’t like that I was parked outside of his house picking up a friend from bible study

$0 something years ago at a bar called the Part II by SLU. For you youngin's That was before everything was fully integrated. Two black couples wanted to come in and they were asked to leave because it was a private club. They said that they were coming back with some friends. I went out and was sitting on the back of my car. A car pulled up and the window rolled down. A black guy in the back seat stuck a pistol out the window and pointed it me. I smiled and for a few seconds sat there staring down the barrel. Then I decided to go in. I figured if they were going to shoot me that night, it was going to be in the back. Sad thing is, I felt bad that they were asked to leave. I didn't think it was right and still don't. Just wasn't me time.

once i was 8 or 9 over at a kids house i played soccer with, didn't go to my school so didn't know him so well. 1st time at his house. his mom leaves to go do something, kid gets guns from his dad's safe to play with. i tell him i don't think its a good idea, he points one at me and one at his head and pulls the triggers then says they are not loaded. Never went back to that kids house.

once when i was 12, playing basketball at a neighbors house, ball went over fence. i jumped over to get it. guy comes running out of house with shotgun pointed at me saying i just ruined his moms rose bushes(his mom is screaming Spanish over his shoulder, not sure if at him or me) never got basketball

Too many times to count. Just part of being an MP, or any other form of law enforcement.

Multiple times by the police.

Heres an interesting one...

Was in PE class at McMain Magnet(middle & high school). Part of class everyday was to jog around the campus. Was with all black kids. Coming around the corner at Nashville and Cucullu, a couple of the black kids decide to "ching-ching-chong" a van full of Vietnamese Mafia as they passed by with their windows down. About 4 of them jump out waving guns at us. I think one of them had a Tec-9. Yes, it was the 90's.

The black kids be like...

I be like....

Once, pulled up in a driveway at 2:00 am to drop off a staggering drunk 14yr old girl that I didn’t know at her house she had given me directions to because some a-hole left her passed out on my porch after a party,

went to open my truck door and there was a shotgun in my face, her dad was very unhappy, I didn’t blame him. Told him I was just doing him a favor so he wouldn’t be worried, that no one had touched her, that she didn’t get any alcohol at my place and that he should be pissed at the shite head he let pick her up that afternoon. I was 18 and glad he believed me, put the gun down and didn’t call the cops. I was too tired to care about the gun at the time.

Took my wife to a shooting range because we were bored and she had never shot a gun. The second I put the gun in her hands, I made the mistake of turning around to grab the earplugs that were behind me. Turned around and she was looking at the grooves on the gun but “accidentally” had it pointed at me. Must be because she discovered my work put a good life insurance policy on me because I was a field employee.

Yes a Ruger mini-14

Pissed off rancher claimed my shooting on a neighboring property scared his horses. Dude was a legit a-hole. Luckily it didn’t escalate and no one got shot....

In high school, I could ride my horse over most of the neighboring properties. One day, I inadvertently took my horse onto property that I did not have permission to be on. The man pulled on gun on me, but then relented after I talked to him.

He called a few days later and told me I could ride over his land any time I wanted.

Yup. Been on both ends of that barrel. Sucks. Counter intelligence work in Nicaragua back in the day. Occasional drug deal gone bad stateside, but all that was years ago. Lucky to be alive.

Punk pulled a gun on me re attempted robbery a few weeks ago. Dumbass. Grabbed that fricking thing, pistol whipped him for a hot few seconds until he ran off, and then added some free gun parts to my personal collection.

Got shot by a shotgun full of salt rock when I was 16. Me and my cousin both. One barrel each. We were up in a barn fricking around with twin sisters who were in our class. The old farmer dad comes stomping into the bard screaming about killing whoever is fricking his daughters, he starts up the ladder, we head out the back way. and haul arse across the field to where my car is parked, we weren't fast enough. That shite HURTS

We were back in the barn a week later LOL
