I played AAU basketball on a mostly white team. We got the shite kicked out of us a lot.

Same. But we qualified for Nationals in Disney World. First game played a team from Lithuania that was 6'7 across the board and got beat like 75-30

We got absolutely waxed my senior year of HS football a couple of times. I remember in one case half our team had a stomach virus right at kickoff and they were all puking instead of playing and they moved me to outside linebacker which I had never played against a triple option team and I got worked. In Monday at practice they ( Coach Dale Weiner) singled me out for the most helmet stickers for being a tackling machine hero but all I remember is repeatedly getting trucked, lol.

I played football at Cal. Freshman didn’t play when I was playing, so my first ever game was my sophomore year in a game at Bama. They beat us 66 to 0.

As a head coach in all white schools, I’ve taken some beatings in basketball. Worst thing n the 60 point range by eventual Texas state champs.

My daughter’s basketball team however is experienced & can hoop. Beat their 1st ever 7th grade opponent 79-2. With the coming from a girl on our team accidentally shooting on the wrong goal.

Played in a best ball golf tournament with a buddy when we were in college. We mostly played casually ant the time and typically shot high 90s.

We both played like absolute dog shite and shot a 106. Would have shot a 104 but the dickheads we played with enforced a 2-stoke penalty for not putting out a ball 3 inches from the hole. Not suprisingly, we got dead last.

Went 0-10 inaugural year as a high school in a year that included St. James, John Curtis, Donaldsonville, Lutcher, South Terrebonne, etc. It was in one word…brutal. We scored one…ONE…touchdown all season and not till our last game and we went crazy like we won the Super Bowl.

Used to coach some Jr high baseball, one year we had all talented eighth graders and we won all games but one I think. The next year I had a team of kids that couldn’t throw or catch. It was the longest season of my life. We miraculously won one game but if we win the coin flip I chose visitors so the run rule would happen quicker.

Football team in 8th grade went 0-7. Was one of 5 white baws on the team. Just your classic 5’6” 160 lb OG

Anyway, closest game was something like 27-14. The rest of the losses were complete beatdowns. I’m talking 56-7 kind of shite on the reg

lost 16 to 2 in junior high basketball. The only saving grace was I drained a shot from nba range above the top or the key. Of course, there was no 3 point line back then.

Was part of an intramural basketball team while at LSU. Only 5 of us (from my old high school team) and we played the LSU football team. Never been so humiliated in my life. Final score as 136-32 (12 of which were scored by myself). Dalton Hillard and Eric Martin were on the team and man, they were so fast. By the time we were able to get past half court they were dunking the ball lol. By the end of the third quarter we were so gassed that we just laid on the court where we were. At the start of the fourth quarter, one of the football players (think he was a TE?) picked me up with one arm and looked me in the eyes and said "Lets go".

Fun times....

Acadiana vs Byrd 2005 playoffs

I rode from Shreveport to Lafayette in a bus. Acadiana was a 1 or 2 seed. The rich parents of Byrd booked a charter bus and parents/kids of the guys on the team rode down I-49 on it. We went around predicting the score, the entire bus was like 28-14 Byrd, 42-14 Byrd. When it got to me, I said 49-7 Acadiana. I was only one to predict Acadiana and did it by a lot. I was 13 and looked at Kenramsey.com and knew how they were compared to us. Parents got mad at me.

Byrd ended up losing like 49-7. I saw Jacob Cutera on Kickoff coverage takeout like 4 Byrd guys in successive trucking as he made the tackle. Acadiana went on to State championship and lost to West Monroe. It was first year Evangel was kicked out of 5A. Otherwise they would've probably won state that year.

It was then I learned at 13, that vast majority of people can't handle the truth. Even the ones who say they can handle the truth, 99% of people can not simply handle the truth when it doesn't benefit them.

People on this board often can not handle the truth.

Hell yes. Was on a shite HS baseball team. I was on the varsity travel squad as a freshman, which only goes to how bad we were, not how I good I was. I Remember playing Evangel whose lineup included guys like Josh Booty and his crew. Those dudes were on another planet. Think Josh hit one out to straight away center…into the wind. I learned there are very distinct levels to sports that day. No clue what the final score was but it was a whole bunch to not enough.

High school against the eventual AA champs. 4 year state high and low hurdle champ as WR for Uof H then Kansas City Chiefs with a QB who ended up at Mich State starting burned us bigtime. Would have been sorta close but for 4 fumbles by one of our RBs who played for LSU. We had a first time safety (he was about 5'6" 125 then) who ended up being a nickel back for Cincy in the Superbowl. Our fastest guy ran a 4.9 40 (in cleats)

Yes. We {Broadmoor) lost to Baker 57-0 in the season opener of my junior year (1984). The very next year we beat them 16-13 and met them again in the first round of the playoffs. Of course, they got their revenge.
