Because, if the information I have seen is true, Khelif was born intersexed. By one account I have read with a vagina from birth and undescended testicles, another I have read says sexually assigned at birth which could still mean a vagina but also a penis or any other number of things like that.

But as an olympic athlete that's not an acceptable answer, that's my point. I don't really give a shite about her every day life. I don't think she's a crazy person trying to be a different sex. But when it comes down to it for an Olympic level competition you have to draw the line somewhere and I don't believe for a second she didn't know she likely was across it.

She is taking testertkrone test throughput the year like all other athletes
Trans people should have no legal way to compete ever. People born with actual vaginas should be able to compete as long as their testosterone is in range for females

Except that she likely has testes also. This isn't the vagina and penis debate, its more vagina and testicles debate. No one debated in the past having a vagina and testes. I'd argue that conservatives would have always said XY plus Testes = male. Don't be ignorant for the sake of argument.

This person is 43-9 boxing against women. They have been boxing in amateur female boxing bouts around the globe. They are not the favorite in this years Olympics to win it all. Their competitors are, apparently, unphased by meeting them in the ring. Why there is such an uproar over a Russian controlled boxing organization decision to vacate wins after this person defeated a Russian boxer is amazing. They have been beaten by 9 other female boxers. Do they have an insurmountable advantage? Apparently not in 9 bouts. Apparently about 10% of female boxers this person has met in the ring are better boxers.

Do you understand how this works? Intersex can be XY, external vagina, fallopian tubes, uterus, ability to have a baby, and undescinded testes with zero external male organs
Tell me the “simple” answer there that makes that a male and not female.
