Eugenie Boisfontaine Who really killed her?

So, who really killed Eugenie? I am a true crime guru. I think the show "The Killing Fields" makes some good points, but DTL definitely killed her. she was murdered the exact same way Connie Warner was.(with a hole in the head from a hammer). I read her mother recently passed away. How tragic!

Lee was suspected in her murder, but it was never proven and I don't believe he confessed to it.

Sadly DTL never confessed to a god damned thing.
They(LEO and families) pulled out all the stops to get closure. State Police even tried having a black detective with "street roots" try to relate to him and urged him to get closure and such. Nothing worked.

I never met her, but have always wondered what happened. I think with today's technology applied back then, this is solved quickly. Unfortunately, the right clues were never accessed back then. Some miscreant got away with murder.

IIRC she was a Pi Phi and had already been attending LSU for a year.
