This summer has been dead as far as garage sales go in BR, plus I worked a 30+ day turnaround this summer, so I haven’t been out since mid-May.
I spent $46
$1 - Sony Walkman
$10 each - old TVs from the 80’s
$15 - Nov 1945 Coleman lantern with box & paper work
I’ve done very well with the old TVs before. They bring about $100 each. The lantern should bring about $75, and the Walkman about $25.

Why? Do people use them for something specific?

You must be on nights this weekend. I thought about going to a yard sale this morning but I opted for sleep instead.

Bro, those TVs...why?
Okay I see that you said you make profit with them, but like the other poster asked, why on earth do people want these?

There's really no way to interface those systems with new TVs?

Just in time for national dog day!

Oh that must be why my kid is asking for a “fat” tv.

Ooh, that lamp is cool! Does it work with modern mantles?

Those systems work perfectly with new flat screens, but they wanna keep the old school games old school, with old school TVs.

Are you saying the chair isn’t nice?
ETA: because it’s nice.

Because it’s old school relics for people who collect interesting things.

Ok, I found the problem.
Speaking of chairs, “Idrivethefiretruck” went to one estate sale today. They had two of these chairs for $2500 each. They are brand new, retail for $3500 each. You can see the factory red strap to remove before using them.
They are made by the Knoll furniture company.
