Establishments in Baton Rouge that surprise you by being open

On the Border - Mexican restaurant off I-10 near College. Who frequents this place? How have they been open for over 20 years? Ninfa's, La Caretta, Superior, Mestizo's and others are better quality places.
The Londoner - I hear people go to Bulldog, Cove, Uncle Earls and downtown bars (3rd street). This place usually looks dead when I drive by.
Dillard's Clearance Center @ Cortana - I mean, are the bargains that good to make a trip to Cortana?
Piccadilly on Essen - perhaps the hospital keeps them busy for lunch? Parking lot in the evening looks completely dead most of the time.
Any other places come to mind?

That NY City Pizza place on Jefferson. What's the story on that place? There's never any customers in there.

Pretty much the hub for soccer fans in BR. The American Outlaws go there i think.

I feel sorry for Picadilly, they are trying to hold on to an outdated business model and refuse to update their menu. It's like watching a really old person at the end of their life.

Applebee's. Any of them. Seriously, how does that place stay open?

Yeah, I heard the place was crazy packed during world cup games. Wish I could have partaken.

Lots of places around corporate/college. Clicks, Fox and Hound, the Waffle House bar. I was surprised Ruby Tuesdays lasted as long as it did.

Love the Londoner. It always has a decent crowd when I'm there. There's a large parking lot behind the place too so you may just not see the cars.

Fox and hound is long gone. Place used to be packed. Towards the end we affectionately referred to it as "the graveyard".
