How long if you're white?

Sorry, I'm going all in with this whole racist thing. It's kinda fun.

Wait, what?

I have friends that grew up in poverty, but are now middle class because they busted their arse at Raisin' Canes.

It's probably easier and faster when your cultural norms promote educate and success rather than drugs violence and extreme promiscuity. :/

BS. I grew up government cheese poor. By my mid 30's I was making 6 figures and that is after delaying college for the military.

It takes WORK!

Same here.

Worked my arse off starting in junior high.

Delayed both getting married and having kids until I could afford instead of as soon as I wanted to.

Oh, also, I kept working my arse off.

Sorry, your story doesn't fit the narrative.

You succeeded because of your gender and race.

Don't forget it.

We'll have no more of your maniacal ravings here, you still owe the oppressed.

In a lot of the world you'd have no chance of escaping poverty in your lifetime. I think this is a pretty good stat for America.

The liberals want to sell "education" at every turn. But what is education? To liberals, their definition of "education" is something that sits on a frame, hung on a wall.

Real "education" is knowing & doing the right thing.

Education doesn't always mean college. Learn a trade and work.

Anyone with a decent work ethic can escape poverty

Depends on your definition of Poverty.
To me Poverty means no Food, being homeless etc.
All one needs to be decent off is the drive not to accept being in the Situation.
Go out and find a job or multiple jobs.
Dont tell me no ones hiring. If you look for it there are always jobs that need to be done.
Compared to where I was 4 years ago Im what I would consider Wealthy.
I own my house,land,vehicles.
Most of my life ive spent homeless, starving. But thats because I was a lazy PoS. All you need is the Mindset, and Drive not to be in the Situation any longer.
The problem with most people is they dont want to work a job that they consider not good enough for them.
When they can use "benefits" and make more or the same not doing shite.
If anything is holding people down into "poverty" its Govermental Welfare.
