Error order, they want me to return. WWTOTD

I ordered one red and white practice hockey jersey for my son. The package arrived containing four black jerseys. Initial reaction was SCORE, since my kid don't care about color. I emailed them saying do you want me to return them - hoping they would just say go ahead and keep them. They replied today with a free return label saying "so you may send back the wrong jerseys that we sent and will be happy to exchange them for the one you ordered"

Being that you are asking the question says that you know what you should do. You should use this as a teaching moment to teach your son what to do the right thing. But you know that right?

Tel them to send your red one first and if it doesn't arrive by tomorrow you're going to have to charge them a restocking fee for the other four.

Well my initial hope was, their point of view was it wasn't worth the time and effort of me returning 4 practice jerseys and them resending 1. And then they sent the nebulous email making it seem like I was unhappy with the color, and so they'll do a swap.
I'm going to reply one more time clearly saying I'll be happy to leave things as they are, but if they really need the 4 back for inventory control purposes or whatever, then I'll return them.

Go to Goodwill and buy 4 crappy jerseys and return those, then they'll send you a red jersey and you get to keep the other jerseys.

No need to be a dick over 2 jerseys that cost no more than $30. Return them and who knows, they may give you voucher with a percentage off your next purchase.
