It seems like the women are using equal pay for PR, they know they won’t get paid the same as the men. They should however get more than they do now based on ticket sales and other revenues they bring in.

I know that. So they got nothing. Which is less than what the women got. What do you not understand? Do you not understand that even if the men DID make the tournament that they’d make more because of FIFA, not because of the us federation? Do you think it would be fair to take the men’s money and give it to the women because they are “better” and “get better ratings”? The payouts are huge for men because of the interest generated world wide. The women don’t have that.

I've never seen NHL players complaining that they don't get the same AAV as NBA players.
It comes down to revenue in which the womens side of soccer ON A WHOLE does not compare to the mens side

frick no, not even close when comparing apples to apples (that means world cup years in which both squads make the tourney, for the accountant/talent agent)
