I'm not cool with any of it. I don't want to join some shite class action suit where I get $100 and a lawyer somewhere in Maine gets $100000000.
I just want my car bought back by Volkswagen for what it was worth before this shite happened. I don't want their crappy fix they're inevitably working on right now.

Kind of in the same boat. I got 3+ years out of mine, so I dont expect a buyback exactly. I just want to get the value from before these shenanigans.
I wish I was a programmer though. I'd be marketing an override programmer that allowed you to go back to previous settings anytime you arent getting an inspection. I really do love the current performance of my car. 42ish mpg combined is nothing to scoff at (although it was done by cheating).

Anyone heard anything on this from VW if you own an affected car.
I've received letters from attorneys and an email stating that VW will provide a $2k incentive in addition to any other deals they have going on to trade in your TDI and buy another VW. I'll never own another VW, so they aren't getting me with that deal. I have not received any recall, solution, or other correspondence on the matter though from Volkswagen.

I have not gotten anything in the mail, no plans to do anything till the dust settles...
