I know I'm in the minority on this site but I love energy deregulation in TX

I moved into Lakewood Estates in June and it has been happening about once every 6 weeks. Fortunately I have a standby generator so the only thing I have to deal with is cox going out about 3hrs in when their bbu goes out.
It doesn’t look like Oak Hills is affected, just one line that runs from Highland through the condos, Lakewood estates, then the appt buildings off of Bluebonnet.

Call the PSC and make a complaint. I did this a couple of weeks back and they were out trimming the entire servitude within days.

Finally came back on after about 6 hours. I'll admit I was a little harsh considering that 99% of the city was fine and this is probably due to old equipment failing, but the buck has to stop somewhere. Hopefully they fixed what they needed to and made preventative measures. We'll see.

I am on a shitty circuit in Oak Hills. Very common for our power to drop out for no reason and neighbors across the street, on a different circuit, keep power. Their damn porch lights taunt me.
Last night we had several voltage dips likely caused by them closing in on a fault in your area but luckily we stayed energized the entire time.

Hey guys! Not really being stalky(okay a little) but it's really easy to grab this data(2018 Tax Roll) and contact them all with a quick flyer. Cost you maybe $30 and posse up!

It’s wild to me that people accept they need to shut off power when the wind blows to keep the lines from sparking and starting fires. How fricking TERRIBLE is your infrastructure that the lines spark when the wind blows? Seems like they should take care of that.
Well if you realized how absolutely dry the grass is on some of these canyon hills you would see that any spark could quickly become a huge wildfire. Completely different than trying to get something to spark up in the wet south.
Secondly is litigation has put PG&E on the defensive. Honestly they probably would have been sued to oblivion if they hadn’t tried to pull the bullshite cover up stuff that they getting butt fricked for, just because this is California

He is telling the truth. I lived in that area for a few years and had to deal with frequent outages.
