You're right. I read it as revenue.

Well that’s not a correct statement

Yep. Like I said, misread. I'll leave it though. People are welcome to pile on. I would.

Ghost town for sure but still with personal injury attorneys suing everyone and doctors trying to act like they are rich and famous.

Maybe their next provider will foot the $30 million bill in return for incompetent regulation.

Fuel adjustments are pass through expenses. They move with the cost for natural gas.

The company said it is working with the city to identify alternative funding sources.

I would pay to get a look at that funding request. I might have to call around and see if I know anyone who's gotten it for a good laugh.

I think “alternative funding sources” was them telling Destroyah to shite in her hand.

I take it as them trying to hold back 30MM in commitment to get 100MM in storm money approved.

Blackmail is the term, but no one will call it that.

So I didn't realize this at the time the deal was announced:

quote:

with Entergy fronting the rest in a loan that Sewerage and Water Board would repay over a decade. Entergy would retain ownership of the facility.

So Entergy isn't even "paying 30M", they are simply loaning the SWB 30M and in exchange for making the loan get to keep the asset on their books.

If the city had even the slightest bit of competence, I'd say tell Entergy to GFY and have the city build a power plant for the pumps.

In a discussion of who is more incompetent:

1) Entergy
2) City Hall
3) S&WB (technically a separate state agency)

It's really hard to pick which one is the most incompetent.

You could probably throw COX on that list as well.

Well when you elect a retard to two terms as mayor, competence will be in short supply.

Oof.

Earnings in this sense means profit.

ETA: I see you admit your mistake. Props.

Moreno seems to more of an actual business mayor type than our current community organizer.

Not sure where that will lead, but she seems heir apparent.
