re: Ensminger Jr. filing lawsuit for Carley McCord’s death

That’s not the point. I understand that planes can last a real long time with proper maitanance but I for one would not get on a plane that old. Again I’m not the guy who likes the idea of being in an airplane way above the ground without any control over what could happen.

Pretty sure military aviation is considered experimental and less stringent than federal requirements. Not trying to argue, just pointing it out

Not even if it’s as a result of provable negligence or intentional conduct? That’s a pretty ridiculous overly broad statement.

So many non-lawyers pontificating on whether claims are merited. I’m sure these people had the same skepticism and know-all of the medical profession in the mid 2010s when doctors were handing out opioid scripts like candy.

No one can grasp the concept that, in every profession, there are those that abuse the system. Just because some do, it doesn’t mean the entire profession does it. PI attorneys serve a needed function. Just because some push the limits doesn’t mean every case, particularly those involving non-physical mental/death issues, is frivolous.

Engines are required to be completely overhauled every couple thousand hours. The “40 year old” part of the airplane is the airframe, which also goes through a thorough annual inspection every year.

Medical records if she sought Rx to calm her nerves while flying or sought counselling for her fears.

I knew someone with a fear of flying commuter planes who got an Rx for anxiety.

Still..... it’s a 40 year old plane.....

The part that keeps the airplane running is likely only a few years old, though.

Ok I guess..... I’m still not getting on a 40 year old airplane..... I’m sorry she made that choice and it’s very sad. For him to file a suit?????? No problem.......

Well I used to drive a 30year old prelude. BUT it was at MY control and knew everything about what that car could do. Like I’ve said. I’m not much of a flyer. Btw that car is still on the road. I guess I’m more of a wanting to be in control kind of person.
