England coach regrets not pulling a Les Miles in Mexico

The 3-2 victory over Mexico in the last 16 this summer was one of the highlights of their campaign, and Tuchel discussed it at length in a new feature released by the English Football Association looking back at the campaign.
Tuchel admitted that he returned to England’s base in Kansas City wishing he had ingested some of the pitch. Tennis star Novak Djokovic has made a habit of eating the grass from Centre Court at Wimbledon whenever he wins the men’s singles there.
“I texted a friend after the match,” Tuchel said. “And I just wrote: I regret that I didn’t eat some grass after the match, to keep something from this in my body forever. That was the feeling. It was the moment.”
Tuchel looked back on the Mexico game as one of the highlights of the campaign

Dude not familiar with Mexico is he? That grass would be there for a very short amount of time.

Les Miles would've went into the match with superior players & lost due to poor preparation & an incompetent coaching performance. Thomas Tuchel, you are no Les Miles, sir.

I thought this would be a post about horrendous clock management. Which would be a feat with the crazy way they keep the clock in soccer.
