So what are/were these "free" energy sources? * Compressed Air * Electric * Steam * Mercury * Aethereal (air)
How do you think an air compressor is powered?
How is electricity generated?
How is steam generated?
Mercury is very dangerous
How do you think equipment to harness air (wind) power is made?

What age are we talking here? Because maps precede air travel by just a few years
There are *World* maps from the 1500-1600s.
Other than from aerial Balloons, how else does a surveyor like Mercator drawn entire continents and coastlines?

For some reason liberator reminds me of the leprechaun in mobile who smoked too much crack and got stuck up in a tree.
Any of u baws remember the "leprechaun in mobile" youtube video?

There’s a reason comments are turned off on that video. They’d likely be pointing out that air doesn’t compress itself to make free energy.
Huh? The comments aren't turned off; there are over 2000 comments on one vid and over 3000 on a follow up PART 2 vid (NOT posted).
Technically, NOTHING is "Free" -- not even our own breathing. Can't do that (or blow up a party balloon) unless we first buy food to EAT, then inhale /exhale. And before you know it, we've got to buy *more* food for the "energy" to chew food, breathe, inhale/exhale.
So YES -- to all of you who claim, "But...but....the energy isn't "FREE!!" -- you win.
At some point YOU have to conduct your *own* research on the dynamics of "FREE Energy" claimed instead of tossing a beer can on the lawn and trolling.

Is *this* the best you've got? "I watched a 'leprechaun in mobile video'!"

C'mon. Tell me how to harness the aether. I wanna be a wizard!

Except none of these are free.

Hey what do you think of Mercator's globes?

Standing on mountains? Being a decent cartographer and using calculations and reports?

You know, with your energy and passion you could probably make a real difference in the world if your mind and time weren't completely filled with nonsense all the time.
Discovering the real Truth about this world, the real history, archaeology, and science -- AND sharing it -- is never "nonsense". It's a blessing. I fully understand your position, believe it or not; but one person's "nonsense" is another's mind-blowing discovery.
Once you open that door, there is no returning. The moment it hits you -- "Whoa -- after all this time, THAT is the truth??" is a rush that never gets old. (I will also admit -- sometimes the new information is so stunningly startling at times I'm literally staggered.)

How would your adjust for perspective?
The only way to get a decent perspective of layouts on the realm/earth is...via air.
Reading "reports" -- yes, baselines, info and maps were shared by other cartographers, but even so...
(I've got "OLDE MAPS" websites queued up for an eventual Thread subject. Love maps -- especially old ones.) Library of Congress has a nice section fwiw.

Or do you believe there were Land Surveyors back in the 1600s?
So it’s your assertion that cartographers didn’t exist before 1800?

Surveying land to create maps was used as early as 1400 BC
Yeah, local maps.
But...of CONTINENTS? OCEANS? THE WORLD?
Not possible until some kind of long distance air flight could be used.

I also love olde maps. They are fascinating in what they got right…but let’s not think they didn’t get a lot wrong either.

Tell me you don't know how conservation of energy works without telling me you don't know how conservation of energy works.
This isn't a physics seminar. It's a forum (in which many lack the attention span or care not about details.)
Try reviewing some of the presented material -- some of your line of questioning may already be addressed. You may be surpised.

Trolling at this level is a manifestation of some type of mental illness.
So you asked a serious question then transitioned into the above hypocrisy / childishness.
Congrats.

I'll tell you what's inefficient - inputting constant energy to satellites to make them move in a way that gives the illusion that they are orbiting a globe earth.
No disagreement from me.
