So is black student qualifications. Like I pontes out, there are a lot of white kids getting into med school. The number of black led students despite all the affirmative action is low. The basic premise that white male doctors are Disappearing is assuming. And if it was true they’re being pushed out by women and Asians.

The number of white and black kids should be irrelevant.

Your side of the argument is the only side worried about what race someone is.

My response involves race solely because they made this about race

I keep telling y'all to band together and stop checking the box that says you're white.

I think red pilled and conservative whites should all mark themselves as other races and hispanic, not for them, but for our children. If enough people did that, it would screw their "good" racism up royally.

The responses I get are basically "derp".

Racial diversity has never been proven to be advantageous. In fact it is quite the opposite.

You're playing their game and you're going to lose. It doesn't matter if racial diversity is an advantage.

We should be repulsed by the idea that individuals are being discriminated against based on their race.

That's it.

You should only go to Asian doctors. Statistically we are the smartest.

Wife’s cousin graduated from Duke in 4 years 4.0 gpa, graduated top of the class in pre med. one would think he would have the choice of medical schools he would like to attend. Nope!!! Could have went to LSU because his dad graduated from med school there, or Ohio state. Those were the only two options he had after being denied numerous times. His father is a successful doctor and he’s white. Schools seem to like to take
Minorities from other countries as well.

We wouldn’t have to worry about race at all if we knew admissions were strictly merit based.

Affirmative action is making race relevant

Physicians brought this upon themselves. They want all the perks of the golden age without the grind and responsibility. People have lost respect for them, rightfully so.

More access? The dr isn’t emailing you back, some bimbo clerical nurse is. Doctors don’t care about anyones time, many of them think they are doing you a favor by seeing you even though they waste your time and you are paying them thru a black box system.

Kid had a shite MCAT then. Get real. They also need to fill a certain number of in state kids, Louisiana needs doctors with ties to the state to take care of all these crazy Cajuns for example

Physicians brought affirmative action upon themselves?

Odds are whatever career you are in is doing the same thing we are discussing in this thread. It’s universal.

The cardiologist and heart surgeon who saved my life were named Dr. Chandler and Dr. Casterline. Both were just as white as I am.

That doesn't matter.

Asians have higher MCAT scores and GPAs.

Do you happen to know what their undergrad GPAs and MCAT scores were?

It took a combination of ethnicities of incompetent, non-communicative, lazy doctors to kill my step father-in-law. The entire field is broken by insurance and the pharmaceutical industry.

Do you have a metric that correlates with success in graduate school more than standardized testing?

You are making fun of us for holding standardized testing and GPA as the metric of success while you hold the amount of melanin in someone’s skin as a valuable metric. You are a fricking moron.

Why don’t we just have a random lottery from all the applicants. That’s probably the most fair. Since the test scores aren’t important and if you pass your boards you are “qualified”.

Why isn’t a lottery system the best option?

I don't see why this matters if the doctor has a proven track record. Why should it matter what a 50-year-old successful doctor scored on his MCAT?

No. No it’s not a success if we could have graduated a more competent professional in whatever field we are talking about wether it’s a doctor, lawyer, or engineer.

It’s about a system to find the best, not graduating

You sound like you got a lot of participation trophies growing up
