My entire outlook on this incident is that truly, there is really no harm nor foul play here. Andrew is a genuine pillar for the community who stands to gain on uplifting others and protecting his community from threats like ICE, anti-LGBTQIA+ rhetoric, and genuine oppression as a whole. Andrew holds a staggering amount of community driven events outside of his comedy club and as somebody who goes there quite frequently and has interacted with Andrew inside and outside his establishment, he is genuinely not somebody who would go out of their way to commit any "performative activism", nor is he somebody who go out of his way to make a rise out of a situation for attention.

From what we've seen from agencies, Andrew's actions toward the possible ICAC agents was suspicion, which is something I will absolutely and can't see anybody being in the wrong for having, especially not when we see ICE agents/agents working with ICE making blatant lies or ruses to avoid detection/conflict. The possible ICAC agents refused to show identification and were driving unmarked vehicles, which to somebody who is doing their best to protect their community from something that has been recently attacking it (ICE), who is to say that Andrew at all acted in a means to harm the community or grab attention for themself?

On top of this, I feel a lot of people are actively going out of their way to attack Andrew and his business because of this incident, and I think a lot of these people clearly don't know or don't want to see that this is a positive thing that Andrew did. And I've noticed a lot of people are just kind of jumping on this topic without even knowing what Sports Drink is or what work it does to be a pillar for the community. It's very sad to see and I'd like for people to understand a bit more about this situation.

As for Andrew, he is a friend. I can name all the cis white dudes I will ride for on one hand with fingers left over. Hate to disappoint, but it’s not virtue signaling- you will never hear about most of the good things Andrew and sports drink have done and are doing. Because that’s just how and who he is.
