For me to document your weight and BMI you need to get your fat arse on the scale. If not, find a new doc and GTFO.

If having a surgical procedure, don’t they have to know how much tranquilizer it takes to put the beast down? That’s derived by weight to a large extent isn’t it? Could have unintended consequences…

I'm guessing if every doctor that's handed one of these cards stepped back and looked at the patient up and down real close, then said something like "I'm guessing you weigh about (their acutal weight plus about 100) pounds" then acted like they were writing it down...
This would stop dead in its tracks and they'd WANT to be weighed
Some fat woman that weighs 300lbs would never want to be confused for a fatter woman that weighs 400lbs, that would be totally offensive and she would need to show that mean old doctor the error in his... weighs (get it)

My doctor's scale weighs in metric. When I asked why ,it was for privacy reasons she said.

My doctor doesn’t even have scales, they’re built into the exam chairs and tables.

Dr: cool story have a seat right there so you don’t pass out from standing up too long

Now that I think about it, how much money would doctors make if most of their patients weren’t fat? How many tpatients would cardiologists treat if there weren’t any fatties. Same goes for endocrinologists. I doubt very seriously that thin people need hip and knee replacements as do the morbidly obese. Seems like there’s money to be made in fatness. Eat on, America,, eat on!
