2) So hes predicting that humans on Earth will kill each other off one day. But if you transport those very same humans to Mars, they wont do it there? That's just stupid. Elon is not as smart as Ive been led to believe

How many of those southern jock baws see past their own bullshite? Do you think many realize that those truck nutz pickups were produced with far more taxpayer subsidies than anything Tesla has produced?
It is true that Tesla customers can qualify for a tax credit - just like customers from Chrysler, GM, and Ford.
It is true that Tesla qualified for a government loan and accepted it - as did many others, including Ford. But Tesla was the first to pay it back in full with interest.
In terms of tax breaks, those are state and local - no different than any other industry that receives them.
Tesla simply receives far fewer subsidies than its automotive rivals. If you jockbaws are really committed to putting your money where your mouth is and want to be tough against government subsidies, then you need to boycott Ford, GM, and Chrysler first ... driving the very American Tesla in the interim until you earn your credibility back.

Earth will always be here until The Sun dies it’s natural death. The point of colonizing Mars is not just about colonizing Mars. It’s about taking the next “baby step” toward journeying beyond our solar system. We need a proof of concept. How can we journey beyond our solar system without a sufficient understanding of the logistics and complexities of extracting natural resources from other planets?

Sending flesh outside of earth is a waste of time and resources. Distances are so far, you would never get anywhere.
