In re Musk as a dad - it's his business and there's no doubt he can afford it, but I have to imagine that he has serious difficulty providing his children with the ideal kind/quantity of fatherly time and mentoring they need. Maybe they have a gramps or uncle figure that can, I don't know.
When I taught high school at a prep academy I could spot the kids whose dads were docs & lawyers simply by how they acted: pretty much like they were being raised by a single mom. Point is, it makes a difference when dad's not a constant physical and emotional presence in the home.

If you take his word about how much he works then it becomes impossible to be a model father to 13 children in any sort of traditional definition.
I like Elon, but I don't understand the need for him to be perfect. Everyone is flawed not accepting that is a bit cultish.

Watching folks champion either side's actions without question, using whataboutism or "they're the 'other'" to justify themselves and their behavior, makes me really question how we're going to make it as a nation.
