Smart move. Identify the gifted kids early, teach them the skill sets that you want them to have, then funnel the best into your organization.

Yup, try to get the best of the best literally growing up in your culture and funnel them to Tesla, Boring, SpaceX, etc

Correct. He now owns a talent supply chain and it the business world, hiring and keeping talent is often the hardest part of running a business.
I wonder if he gives college scholarship grant money to some kids in exchange for working for him post-grad.
