Abita, Cleco. Power still out.

Generator rolling, fridges, cook stuff and tv/cable/modem/WiFi all powered up but Charter still down.

Doors open and this cool breeze is awesome though.

FWIW, Abita Lumber is open till 2 I believe. Working with flashlights, but picked up lumber to redo a trailer.

I saw that! It's amazing how many homes are out of power due to this storm.

They also need to update their outage maps. They've take off areas that still don't have power. Most of Mandeville is down, but you wouldn't know it by looking at their outage map.

The power line across from my house is on the ground and no one has even come to look at it yet. I don’t expect to have power tonight

That's unfortunate, my friend. I hope they get that fixed soon.

I'm not exactly certain what we're waiting for over here.

Just talked to my uncle who lives in Old Mandeville, said he saw the mayor this morning while out and about and the mayor told him “it’s going to be a while”... they have Entergy there, just like on the Southshore, but with all the trees down on the Northshore apparently it’s going to take them a lot longer to get up and running.

I'm in Old Mandeville too. We have Cleco where I am. Yeah, there were trees everywhere early this morning.

Hmm.. he specifically said he has Entergy.. Old Mandeville doesnt seem big enough to have two different providers, but maybe so.

I have no idea. I moved here in February. I really don't know what Entergy services in this area.

Sounds like maybe he was mistaken.. either way, i guess the mayor thinks it’s going to be ‘a while’, not sure if that means several days or what.

Yeah it’s hard to tell. I heard the same...Cleco is overwhelmed and likely has crews from other states coming in.

I heard second hand to not expect power back today.

I just learned that half of my neighborhood actually has power which is pretty aggravating
