Has nothing to do with what's easier.
In fact, I put in more time and concentration now that I have an electronic toothbrush.

Team up your electric toothbrush with a waterpic. Best cleaning ever.

My kid's have sonicare brushes that link up to the ipad. It allows them to open an app and brush to a game. It makes sure they brush correctly and don't gloss over.

Your wife is probably leaning towards electric.
Yeah, the wife and I share one. It's not that gross like sharing a regular toothbrush though since we use it for different things.

what other things are you and the wife using your shared toothbrush for besides brushing?

This is exactly what I'm trying to avoid. Brushing my teeth is really easy, and I've never had a cavity, I don't need to complicate the process or have to concentrate on it

Totally worth it because people that use a manual tooth brush only brush for 35 seconds.
The manual brushes usually have a timer so that they run for two minutes. If you stop before it does, you know you didn't do you best.

I switch to electric when I had braces, haven’t gone back.

Yes. And don't try to save money later by buying the WM replacement heads. Tried once, not nearly the same as the Sonicare.

I went with the Burst. I love it
ETA: I got it for $40 with a code from a dental hygienist, and they send me a new brush head every three months automatically for $6, free shipping on everything.

Let me guess.
You don't have a water pik.
You will be amazed. Your gums will thank you and me.

So which is better, Sonicare or Oral B? I've always used Sonicare but am on my last head of this six pack.

I feel you.
I just love how much better my gums feel now that I have this toothbrush. I get that I could have just done a better job with my a normal one, but I didn't.
It certainly doesn't take an electric toothbrush to brush your teeth well, though.

Oral B has a new brush that interfaces with an app and tracks areas that you may have missed. It will then prompt you to go back and hit those areas. It also has an indicator that lets you know if you are pressing too hard.
Watch out though, they will report automatically to your dentist and rat you out.
Choose wisely
