CAIRO — At least 235 people were killed when gunmen opened fire and bombed a mosque in Egypt's volatile Sinai Peninsula on Friday. Government officials said 109 more had been injured in the attack — among the deadliest in Egypt's history.
Images from inside the building showed dozens of bodies wrapped in blood-soaked cloth lined up on the carpeted floor.

Once again, major news hits TD before Drudgereport and other news sites even have it posted.

Seems to be a weekly experience in that part of the world, but if it happened here in the US, we would be talking about it every minute and for years.
Are they desensitized to it?

Mass murder doesn’t get nearly the traction that it used to pre-9/11. Most people have probably already forgotten about Las Vegas.

This is easy to dismiss since it is over there and a bunch of Muzzies killing each other but we should all be concerned when a group of people aren't free to gather and pray to their deity without being killed. This bothers me every bit as much as the TX church shooting and probably more since one was a whacko and this was organized religious / political violence.

Amen to that point. This should concern everyone.

They should probably ban guns over there. If they did that, then the criminals wouldn't have guns to commit this crime.

True. The problem is these attention whores are having to keep raising the bar to draw attention. Killing a dozen is one news cycle these days

I've always been a proponent of carpet bombing those shitstains from this earth then pump all the oil out of their land. Get rid of the Middle East and you get free oil. Win win.

So you want to kill millions of innocent people to prevent the possible killing of hundreds of innocent people? Seems like a great plan

That's one of the few times where I've seen more dead than injured. Wow.
