I bet you at least 2 of your upvotes are from people who believe this.

I wonder if something has been added to the feed to stop egg production. My chickens at home have slowed way more than previous winters. I started only giving table scraps recently to see if that helps. However, They are almost 3 years old, so less production is expected

They’re more likely from people who recognize the sarcasm.

Seems like it's an inefficient way to create antibodies.
Worth pursuing
Current vax does nothing to block or hinder infection. If this can, great.

This, but unironically.

weird that we are demonizing eggs now and there is a shortage.
I have never stopped eating eggs almost every morning for breakfast and find eggs in stock and plentiful every time I go to the grocery store. Where are eggs not available?

yeah, before I saw this theory going around I bought a big bag of one of the brands people say is included in this, just to try out while the girls were down in their laying, because it was cheaper and more product than I usually buy. hens hadn't laid in a few weeks, which they do every year this time of year, as you know, but for the others, during periods of less light, they stop. always have, always will. they tend to molt this time of year as well, which stops them laying as well (I have always thought it a dumb evolutionary strategy to lose cover in winter, but they've been around a while, so what do I know).
Anyway, they started laying the day after I got the new bag and have been going strong since. Pretty sure it has a lot more to do with the longer days than a conspiracy at Purina.
And for those that don't know, factory farms get around this light issue w heaters and lights to "trick" the hens into laying full bore for a year or so before slaughter. heaters and lights are and have always been responsible for numerous fires in henhouses a year. hell, probably moreso in the past. and those hens are stacked on top of one another, so one fire--->big numbers of deaths(to the public)

At 3 most of yours are probably going to have a harder second molt and slow down a while longer, on top of naturally slowing down w age. we have a few that have aged out all together, but can't go in a pot because the kids freaking named them, according to the wife

I’m not a researcher or scientist, so it is very difficult for me to determine if this is bogus or legit. If legit, it explains a lot of what is going on with eggs and chickens right now. If bogus, Elon needs to step up his game. Seems to be a study published in 2020.
Lol this is like a computer generated word salad. Good god you guys need to read a book. I'm begging you at this point.

No wonder they are trying to destroy the egg supply.

This is what I took from it, effectively making the vaccine unnecessary from the start. Also, implying that a vaccine could be produced using the antibodies contained in the egg yolks.
God, you guys just say the most retarded shite.

It’s amazing to me the number of American citizens that don’t realize this govt has been weaponized against us

Spike proteins are the "revoulutionary" method behind the covid vaccines.
What the hell are you talking about?
The Coronavirus is so named due to the spike proteins that give it an appearance of a crown. The revolutionary (note the proper spelling) vaccine technology is messenger RNA or mRNA for short.

It is evidence that the covid vaccine was a big planned operation and the egg shortage is part of that.

Same. My kids used to swing and slide holding them, but have since lost interest. I been having chickens for about 6 years. I'm going back to a different breed. Currently have Plymouth rock and Australorp, I'm going back to Rhode Island reds and Orpington. Those were egg laying machines and I've always used Purina feed.

Spike proteins are the "revoulutionary" method behind the covid vaccines. Egg yolks make the method not work. So there is an egg shortage because chicken feed has new material that causes chickens to not lay eggs. Amazing how they could come to that conclusion before the vaccines were out. This study was published Nov 2020.
The spike protein is how the Covid-19 virus attaches to receptors to cause havoc within the body. The study says that egg antibodies disrupt the virus’ ability to cause illness.
Until recently, I was eating 20+ eggs a week (was doing this long before the pandemic). Not sure if there is a connection or not, but it might explain why I never tested positive.

How so?
Within the last 2 weeks there have been several articles stating that eggs are causing heart issues like myocarditis. Something's fricky.

the couple Australorps I've had have been awesome, including our oldest one, who's like 6 or 7 and has survived everything thrown at her, storms, possums, sickness. she's old enough to have grown spurs like a rooster. her broody arse sat on the few fertilized eggs we had when we had a rooster slipped in with some young ones, she raised us a few free chicks, so she can stay.
our Leghorns have been the best consistent layers, but wife and kids keep picking prettier ones. Orpingtons and Barred Rocks have been my favorites all around and what I'm getting next as well, but I digress.
only bad thing about having chickens is that you don't see prices on eggs very often, then you walk in the store one day when you finally need them and $2 eggs cost $7.
