EBR ZOO had housing for employees after flooding.........

Monday Advocate said there are 2 cottages/cabins on the Zoo property that were used for housing zoo employees after the flooding.
So now the State Police and the Zoo have these "special" benefits for employees that were flooded. Did they pay anything to stay there? How long did they stay there? Who paid the utilities?
(like I don't already know)
Now they say they're scheduled for demolition?
I'm wondering just how many city and state employees got these benefits?

So what is your argument here? All flooded residents of the Parish should have been put in a pot and names drawn to see who got to stay there? I don't see what the big deal is if they temporarily housed employees who were flooded

Can you read?
EBR Zoo handed out special benefits for housing at the Zoo on taxpayer bill.... free for some but not for others.
Even the Convention and Visitor bed tax hammered already hurt people. Special people got treated better...That's what.

Yeah. Old houses that were used temporarily after a disaster to help people. Is not the same as the State Police thing. You’re trying too hard to find something.

I think this is a troll but I’ll bite. Ever think that those ppl were there to tend to the animals during a natural disaster?

Let’s not throw logic and common sense into this thread. Two things OP won’t be able to comprehend.

They helped out employees who were in need. Good on them.

I wondered if you were just trolling or retarded. Then I read your signature and realized it's the latter.

Have you ever been to the zoo? Do you think they were staying at these "residences" because they were bright and shiny?
That whole zoo is a dump and if someone who is underpaid doing a rough job, needs a place to crash for a few weeks or months then I say let them have at it.
Not the same as staying at the Ritz during Mardi Grad. These zoo workers probably lost damn near everything.

Are you actually serious?

This did not turn out how you expected did it?

Look at from a business perspective.
Option 1) Spend money to house employees (minimal incremental cost)
Option 2) Go through the process of hiring/onboarding/training new employees

This is the OT. Trolling is ALWAYS my second choice. Except when it's el Gaucho.
Then it's both.
